Everything Summer LLC was founded in 2005 by Jill Tipograph as a boutique, premium independent summer guidance consultancy. After many years spent as a corporate executive honing her skills in client services, research, analysis, marketing, and planning – and nearly a decade as a summer camp and program placement agent – Jill recognized the need for an independent summer consultancy that could provide tailored, personalized guidance and advocacy for families. Jill developed Everything Summer’s fee-based model for high-touch summer consulting, drawing praise from camps and programs, whose owners and directors labeled her a ‘pioneer’ in the industry – putting family needs first and foremost.

Over the subsequent years, Jill built Everything Summer by taking the time to understand the personality, behaviors and needs of each individual child, teen, family, camp, and program. Jill dedicated time to understanding Everything Summer clients, investing in building a thorough research team, and having thoughtful conversations with camps and programs to understand and assess fit. She created unique, tailored, and detailed strategies and recommendations for each family - which have become Everything Summer’s hallmark. Her holistic, fit-focused approach to summer ultimately led the New York Times to label her a “summer expert”.  Anticipating families’ needs, and the rising interest in gap years, Jill further expanded Everything Summer to offer tailored, expert gap year guidance.

As Everything Summer clients continued to return to Jill well beyond their camp and high school years – a testament to their faith in her guidance – Jill turned to providing career guidance to college students, graduates, and young professionals.

In 2016, Jill was joined by Jake Schwartzwald as an integral member of Everything Summer’s client service and research team. Jake’s work quickly earned the trust of clients, camps, and teen programs – he complimented his hands-on work with Everything Summer families by spending summers working in leadership roles at a top camp in New England. As Jill’s other endeavors continued to grow, ultimately becoming Jill’s primary focus, Jake rose to his current position of Director. Today, Jake continues to build upon Everything Summer’s reputation as the preeminent independent summer and gap year consultancy, and Everything Summer continues to provide top-tier guidance for our families.
